Handling of Personal Information on the ECC group website

■Collection of Information
・Customers using the ECC group website (herein after “ECC website”), may be asked to submit their personal information to process their request for information. The personal information requested will be limited to that which is necessary for providing ECC group service (hereinafter “ECC service”).

■IP Address
When a customer’s browser requests information from the ECC website, the website automatically receives its IP address. Since the browser automatically sends the IP address to the website, every time a customer uses the website their IP address is collected. The IP address of every customer’s PC is stored in the ECC website when the customer accesses a service.

How ECC Uses IP Addresses
・To help solve technical problems reported by customers associated with IP addresses managed by corporations or ISP (Internet Service Providers)
・To provide accurate information based on location and other relevant information obtained from a customer’s IP address.

・When asking customers for personal information, ECC encrypts communication using SSL.
